# Accessing Smtp configuration

1. Log in to your Statch account with your credentials.

2. Navigate to the Settings section of your account.

Cmd/Ctrl + Option/Alt + S to go to settings to configure smtp.

Click on button in the top right corner to go to Settings > Smtp.

3. Locate the "Email Notifications" or "SMTP Configuration" option in the settings menu.

# Entering details

In the SMTP Configuration section, you will need to enter the following details:

Host Enter the hostname or IP address of your SMTP server. This information is provided by your email hosting provider.
Port Specify the port number used by your SMTP server for outgoing email. The default SMTP port is 25, but some providers may use alternative ports like 587 or 465.
